Hi, I’m Taylor and I watch too much TV

Hi, I’m Taylor Roebuck. I’m an artist, writer, and aspiring retiree from the Midwest. It’s been alleged that I’m a comedian, but there’s no evidence to support that at this time.

I currently cohost 50 PERCENT FRESH, a silly little podcast that exclusively covers movies with bad scores on Rotten Tomatoes. My cohost is Mark Roebuck, cofounder and head writer of HARD DRIVE dot net, who, as my husband, is legally and morally obligated to collaborate with me.

Aside from that, I draw a lot — usually stuff from movies or tv shows. I’d love it if commissions came in more frequently, but for now, most of my action comes from selling my art on sites like Redbubble. Last month, someone in Turkey bought a shirt with my Junior Soprano design on it. Weird sentence to say.

As if my whole deal wasn’t niche enough, I also draw a lot of pro wrestlers. I make pick ’em sheets for AEW and WWE ppvs.

Here’s a short list of other fun little facts:

– I’ve written for several funny websites, including The Hard Times, Hard Drive, and Reductress.
– Posting my Sopranos fan art led to a thrilling internet friendship with Steve Schirripa.
– Sometimes I have the opportunity to be funny in videos. Here’s proof.
– Back when I did standup, I opened for Todd Barry. The only time I saw him light up was talking about Project Runway before one of the shows.

Podcast Review – 50 Percent Fresh ep. #4 – Deep Blue Sea

“Amazing podcast today about Deep Blue. You guys have a great way of having complementary banter. Very entertaining. Btw Michael Rapaport was pretty good in Copland too”
